pull-out taps
Any pull-out style taps, typically are not compatible. Even with some adapters - they tend to leak so we advise against it.
Pull-out spray taps, square/angular taps, and sensor taps are not compatible with any adapter.
How to install

60 seconds.
No tools. No plumber.

Screws onto your tap in place of the aerator. No tools, no plumber.

1
Remove the aerator
10 sec
Twist off the small cap at the end of your tap spout — that's the aerator. It just unscrews anticlockwise. Most come off by hand.
2
Attach the connector
20 sec
Choose the adapter that fits your tap thread and screw the filter's connector onto it. Settle the threads before turning to avoid cross-threading.
3
Flip and flush
30 sec
Switch the lever to filtered, run water for 30 seconds to activate the carbon block. First flow may look slightly grey — that's normal, it clears immediately.
What does it remove?

100+ contaminants.
All independently tested.

Every removal claim is backed by independent lab testing across four accredited laboratories — not manufacturer certifications. We publish the actual results so you can verify exactly what you're removing.

FAQs

Common questions.

The EcoPro Compact comes with 5 adapters covering 95% of Australian taps. If none fit, email us with a photo of your tap thread and we'll send the correct adapter free of charge within 1–2 days. It is not compatible with pull-out spray taps, square/angular taps, or sensor taps.
Every 2 months or 220 litres — whichever comes first. Even if you use less water, replace on the 2-month schedule: a wet carbon block sitting in your tap needs regular changing regardless of volume. The Annual Pack includes 6 refills, covering a full year.
Both include the same filter valve, housing, and 5 adapters. The Starter Pack includes 1 refill — 2 months of filtered water. The Annual Pack includes 6 refills — a full year of filtered water with no reordering. The Annual Pack saves you around $60 versus buying 5 extra refills separately.
No — use the lever to switch to unfiltered mode for hot water. High temperatures damage the carbon block and can cause the housing to crack. The filter has a lever specifically so you can quickly switch between filtered (cold) and unfiltered (hot) water.
4 litres per minute — one of the fastest available for tap-mounted filters. You'll notice a slight reduction from unfiltered flow, but nothing that affects everyday use.
High-grade ABS plastic — strong, lightweight, and corrosion-resistant. Stainless steel housings are heavier, more expensive, and can corrode over time. If anything breaks or leaks, we replace it free of charge under the Forever Fresh Guarantee.
Yes — the EcoPro Compact reduces fluoride by approximately 70%, which is significant for a tap-mounted carbon filter. Most carbon filters remove 0%. If you need >99% fluoride removal, see our RO Countertop which uses reverse osmosis.
Just 122 mm wide × 68 mm tall × 58 mm deep — roughly the size of a hockey puck. It's the smallest and most effective tap-mounted filter on the market. The housing screws directly onto your tap tool-free, and the carbon block inside is made from coconut shells, filtering limescale and 100+ substances. You'll barely notice it's there. If you'd prefer a benchtop unit, see our Countertop RO.
